A starting point?

Viterbo: Formerly called Urbs Vetus, which means the Old City, has the largest medieval historical centre in Europe.

With its Etruscan origins and its great historical traditions, this city still maintains a monumental structure, which is one of the most important of Lazio: buildings and monuments, artworks, evocative medieval neighbourhoods, churches and cloisters, towers and elegant fountains.

The city, surrounded by high medieval walls and massive towers, houses the Italian Gold Reserve, an important Art Academy, and the famous University of Tuscia.

Do not miss the Bomarzo Monster Park, immersed in a dreamlike atmosphere, just a few kilometres from Viterbo. It will fascinate you!
