On 18 October, just a few kilometres from Valletta, the streets of Ħamrun are transformed into a sweet party during the "Ħamrun Chocolate Festival", an event that enlivens the heart of Malta with spectacular sculptures, craft tastings and chocolate-themed shows.
Famous for Perugina and the famous Baci Perugina, in its historic centre, from 14 to 23 November, will host "Eurochocolate", one of the largest chocolate festivals in Europe with a rich program of workshops, tastings, entertainment and thematic stands.
Famous for its Modica IGP chocolate cold-processed according to an ancient recipe of Aztec origin (through the Spanish) and with a unique grainy texture. From 7 to 10 December, in the Baroque historic centre, Modica will excite everyone with the tastes and flavors of "ChocoModica", an extraordinary event that promotes the ancient art of local chocolatiers.
Here gianduja (chocolate with hazelnuts), the famous Gianduiotto and bicerin were born. Considered the Italian capital of chocolate, from 13 to 17 February 2026 it will host "CioccolaTÒ", one of the most important fairs dedicated to chocolate with tastings, show cooking and stands in Piazza San Carlo.
In Naples, chocolate meets the great Neapolitan confectionery tradition, including filled pralines, artisanal eggs and refined creations that often take center stage in local fairs dedicated to taste.
Cuneo is the home of the famous Cuneesi al Rhum, intense and enveloping pralines, which are celebrated every autumn with exhibitions and tastings in the heart of the city.
